Update on NLC Strike : NLC faction, CSOs under fire over failed protests

 The Ayuba Wabba-led faction of the NLC and its Civil Society Organisations allies have been criticized over it’s failed protests against the increase in petrol price 
 The coalition said the failed protests shows that the union is out of tune with the yearnings of Nigerians
 –  The labour has been advised to divert its energy into rebuilding its public perception among Nigerians 
The Comrade Ayuba Wabba-led faction of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and its Civil Society Organisations allies have been criticized by the Coalition of Civil Society Against Corrupt Persons in Nigeria over what it described as failed protests against the increase in the price of petrol. In a statement by Linus Ejilogo, the coalition’s national president, on Friday, May 20, said the days when labour leaders ride on popular demands to blackmail and extort the government for personal interests are over, adding that the failed protests shows they are out of tune with the thinking and yearnings of Nigerians.
